The DRV8825 stepper motor driver carrier board TI DRV8825 micro bipolar stepper motor driver is a breakthrough. The module has a pin out and interface that is almost identical to our A4988 stepper motor driver carrier, so it can be used as a higher performance drop-down menu for these boards in many applications. The DRV8825 features adjustable current limit, over current and over temperature protection, and six micro-resolutions (down to 1/32-step). It is available in 8.2 – 45 V and can deliver up to about 1.5 per phase without fins or forced air flow (rated up to 2.2 with enough extra cooling per roll).
